A REFERENCE DATABASE FOR PLANT PROTEIN-PROTEIN INTERACTION

PlaPID: Plant Protein Interaction Database

PlaPID (Plant Protein Interaction DataBase) is a novel database for protein-protein interactions (PPIs) in plants. It associates high-confidence information derived from published literatures and several databases. PlaPID will be updated frequently. PlaPID also presented a predicted Arabidopsis interactome by integrated diverse genomic datasets.

QUICK START:
Please enter a single protein when you would like to know whether some other protein can interact with it. Otherwise, enter a pair of protein to check whether they can interact with each other according to our data collections. The quick search is supported by multiple protein or gene ID: UniprotKB Accession, TIGR Locus ID, Entrez GeneID and Gene Symbol. For the advanced search, please link to the QUERY page.

USAGE: After you submit protein(s) in Query Page, basic protein information is returned, including protein ID, gene ID, number of interactions, functional annotations and database cross-references. PPI information is graphically displayed when you press the bottom “View Interaction Network Graphic”. If you press one protein in the image, the page can be linked to the PPI information of this protein. More information, please see HELP & FAQ.
